Women earn less than men but more importantly average earning levels for women are not enough to have a dignified quality of life.
Women retire with less money & more than 95% of women do not have enough money to fund their retirement in old age.
Women’s employment opportunity diminishes with age, with many women over 50 having fewer options than younger women.
Women are aging into poverty and those over 55 are at the greatest risk of homelessness.
Women who experience D.V or are not in control of their own money are at greater risk of financial abuse, poverty and homelessness.
